How Coca Cola Lost $4 Billion?
The famous cold drink brand Coca Cola which is known worldwide faced a nightmare when their market value dropped from $242 billion to $238 billion. It all happened when the popular football star Christiano Ronaldo in a press conference removed two Coca Cola bottles and replaced them with a water bottle.
In Euro 2020, before the Portugal Vs Hungary match, Christiano moved the coca-cola bottle kept on the table and flashed the water bottle in Portuguese saying "agua" (water in English).
This gesture of football conveyed a message to the people that instead of carbonated drinks, drink water.
In response to the Christino Ronaldo action, Coca Cola released a statement that everyone is entitled to their drink preference.
