 How Birthday Cake saved the life of two brothers in Madhya Pradesh when chased by a leopard?

An interesting incident took place in Madhya Pradesh's Burhanpur when two brothers escaped a leopard with the help of a birthday cake.

The two brothers named Sabir Mansuri and Firoz living in Madhya Pradesh were going to a birthday party of Firoz's son. This incident happened on Monday evening around 6PM,  when they after buying the cake from Nepanagar town were heading back on a bike to Goradia village. Suddenly a leopard came out of the sugarcane field and started chasing the bike.

 

According to the two brothers, the leopard chased them for over 500m. They tried to accelerate as fast as they could but the wild leopard gained on them. It pawed at the cruiser and making Sabir riding pillion and leaving no alternative but smacking the box containing the cake at the hunter.

Sabir told forest officials that-"The leopard followed us for 500m. We narrowly escaped death".

As of now, the forest department is not sure about the presence of leopards. Later the forest department ahs found leopard pugmarks.

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has recently extended the cutoff time for re-enlistment for the July session. Students would now be able to enroll till July 15. Students can re-register online by visiting the official site of IGNOU, i.e.ignou.ac.in. "The last date of Re-Registration for the July 2021 Session has been reached out till 15th July 2021," the authority notice read. 

Re-enlistment implies enrolling for the following year/semester of a program. Students who have enrolled for postgraduate, undergraduate and semester-based courses of 2-3 years duration can apply for IGNOU registration for 2021 session.

Re-registration can also be done by the students for the next year or semester of the course independent of whether they have submitted the projects & the assignments or showed up in the term-end examination of the past semester. 

How to fill Re-Registration Form for IGNOU July 2021 Session?

Go to the official website of IGNOU - ignou.samarth.edu.in or ignou.ac.in 

• In the admission portal, submit the enrollment number and select the course. Also, enter the registered date of birth.
• In the portal, the pre-filled examination form on the basis of the previous semester will get displayed. Check all the details carefully and click on enter.
• Proceed to the online payment gateway. You can use a debit card, credit card, or online banking system for the payment.
•  An online form or receipt will get generated confirming the admission to a program. Download the form in PDF format or take its printout for future use. 

IGNOU June TEE Deadline Extended by July 15  

IGNOU has likewise stretched out the last date to submit an assignment for the June 2021 Term End Examination (TEE). The Indra Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has also recently announced that students can submit their project reports or assignments by July 15.
